Works published or broadcast by a United States media outlet in 2012 are eligible for an award.

The Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) seeks entries for its Sigma Delta Chi Awards, honoring the best of professional journalism.

Categories cover print, radio, television, newsletters, art/graphics, online and research. For a list of subcategories, click here.

The entry fee is US$60 for SPJ members and US$100 for nonmembers.

Winners will be announced in May 2013. The awards banquet will take place at the National Press Club on June 21, 2013.

Submit entries with a cover letter by February 7.
