Society for Professional Journalists hosts Twitter chats [Worldwide]
A media organization is hosting a series of Twitter chats on topics relevant to journalists.
To participate in the Twitter chats, sponsored by the Society for Professional Journalists (SPJ), users should follow @spjchat and use the hashtag #SPJchat (for more information on using hashtags, click here.) Journalists from all over the world participate in these chats and it’s a good opportunity to network, gain new followers and use social media in an innovative way.
Upcoming chats finclude Mobile Apps and Other Reporting Tools for Journalists (April 21), Database Reporting and Data Visualization (April 28) and Advanced Social Media Techniques (May 5).
