Spanish-language publication calls for academic papers [Latin America]

Deadline:

4/25/13

Media professionals who focus on communication in Latin America can submit papers for publication.

The magazine Chasqui, the quarterly publication of International Center for Communication Studies in Latin America (CIESPAL), is looking for academic papers for its next publications.

Chasqui is a space for the development and dissemination of critical thinking about the relationship between communication, culture and politics in the Latin American context. Participating academics, writers, journalists, artists and other thinkers are united by a common need to propose ideas challenging dominant thinking.

Interested journalists can submit academic essays in Spanish that focus on the topics of communication, culture and politics in Latin America. The maximum length of all papers is 3,500 - 4,000 words, without counting references. Bibliographic citations should be in MLA format.

The deadline is April 25 for publication in June.
