Journalists involved in their country's economic and political development can apply for a summer fellowship at Stanford University.
The Draper Hills Summer Fellowship on Democracy and Development is a three-week program that brings together 25 to 30 midcareer professionals across all disciplines, especially those from developing countries.
The university covers travel, accommodation, living expenses and visa costs. The training program provides a forum for emerging leaders to connect, exchange experiences and receive academic training through seminars, academic readings and classroom-based curriculum.
Applicants must have a working knowledge of English and submit an online form, resume, statement of purpose and up to three letters of recommendation.
The deadline is December 14 for the full application, and November 23 for the intake questionnaire.
