Student writers, designers, broadcasters, editors and photographers can apply.

The Guardian Student Media Awards target students planning a career in journalism and the media. The Awards are open to permanent residents of the United Kingdom.

Categories include publication, website, reporter, feature writer, columnist, critic, photographer, data interactive journalist, digital journalist and broadcast journalist.

The five best entries in each category will be shortlisted and invited to attend the Awards ceremony in November. Winners will receive a prize of two weeks of work experience at the Guardian, whilst runners-up will receive one week.

Submit three examples of your work by June 28.
