Young journalists, politicians, lawyers and active youth up to 35 years old are invited to the Alpbach Summer School on European Integration held in Kiev from June 27 - July 7.
The summer school is designed to provide a basic understanding of the European Community and the European Union.
The curriculum includes an intensive basic course of EU Law to equip attendees with the skills required to analyze socio-economic and legal issues of European integration and, more generally, to introduce them to a culture and practice of animated debate of contemporary problems facing European integration.
The school is organized by The European Forum Alpbach, Austria; the Initiative Group of the European Forum Alpbach in Kyiv; and the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
Registration fee is €70 (about US $100) for students from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine and €100 (about US $140) for youth from other countries.
No travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed. The organizers, however, will provide accommodation assistance. Accommodation cost is €35 (about US$50) per day.
