Academics, students and journalists are invited to this conference.

The Federal University of Pernambuco is organizing the International Conference on Education Technology in conjunction with the Symposium Hypertext and Technologies in Education held November 13 to 15 in Recife, Brazil.

The symposium aims to broaden the discussion of new digital technologies for information and communications technology (ICT) beyond Brazilian borders and to promote knowledge sharing with researchers from other countries. This year's theme is mobile learning inside and outside school.

The event will feature conferences, roundtables, workshops, communication sessions and poster presentations.

Those interested in presenting papers should submit an abstract by August 30. The early registration deadline is June 30. Fees range from BRL$80 (about US$40) to BRL$260 (about US$130).
