Thomson Reuters offers course on producing TV news [MENA]
Broadcast journalists from the Middle East are eligible to apply for this training course on creating television news stories in Amman, Jordan.
Thomson Reuters Foundation is organizing a five-day training course for Middle Eastern journalists who are working in broadcast media organizations. The program topics include research, writing for TV, camera work and editing. Lectures are supported by practical exercises and video examples. The class is run by senior Reuters television journalists.
Interested candidates must have at least two years of professional experience, and be able to demonstrate career commitment.
Applicants must submit a professional biography, a statement describing any broadcast media experiences, and two recent examples of their published work. TV/Radio journalists can send their scripts along with a brief summary.
The deadline is July 29.
