Thomson Reuters is seeking a journalist to join the team of editors that runs coverage from Japan, with a focus on breaking news.

Duties include: coordinating news planning with reporting teams, Top News team, Asia Desk and Asia EICs; working with reporting teams and regional editors to produce exclusive and enterprise stories; collaborating with domestic language and visuals teams on coverage and planning; and ensuring that storytelling is enhanced using visuals and graphics.

Applicants should have at least 10 years of experience in reporting and editing financial news. Strong writing, editing and analytical skills are a must, along with an ability to tell complex stories with flair. Knowledge of the energy or technology sector is a plus.
