Tow-Knight Entrepreneurial Journalism Program accepting applications [Worldwide]

Mid-career journalists and graduate journalism students can apply for an entrepreneurial journalism certificate program.

Offered by the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism, the Tow-Knight Entrepreneurial Journalism Program is a one-semester course running from January 30 to May 21, 2012.

The five-course program will prepare journalists to create their own media start-ups or bring innovation to existing organizations. Courses will cover new business models for news, technology immersion, new media apprenticeship, new business incubation and fundamentals of business.

Participants will earn an advanced certificate in entrepreneurial journalism upon completion. Scholarships and financial aid are available based on merit and need.

The deadline is October 3 for international applicants and November 11 for U.S. applicants.
