Journalists interested in crisis reporting can apply for a travel grant. The grants fund reporting projects that focus on crises under-reported in the mainstream American media.
Proposed projects must include a plan to distribute the work in the US. Grants are open to journalists, writers, photographers, producers and filmmakers. Most awards fall in the range of US$2,000 to US$10,000.
