Iran's Hamshahri publications is holding training courses in Tehran for journalists interested in producing editorial cartoons, Hamshahri Online reported.

The beginner-level courses feature topics such as the application of editorial cartoons in new media, the history of editorial cartoons, editorial cartoons in Iran and the application of cartoons in business advertisements.

Participants will pay a tuition of 300 thousand rials (US$30) for the 12-week course.
