Rio+20, the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, seeks communication professionals in several areas - social media, publicity, cultural events, press, interpretation and translation.

The Brazilian office of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is organizing a database of service providers. Candidates must register here (English version available).

Registering does not necessarily imply being called and hired for the services offered. The contacts will be made according to demands.

The official meeting with heads of state will take place June 20-22 in Rio de Janeiro. Preparatory meetings and side events will begin on June 13. More than 50,000 people are expected to attend these meetings, according to the UNDP.
