United Nations journalism fellowship open [US]

Journalists based in the United States who are interested in international development and global health can apply for a fellowship.
The United Nations Foundation will host a special fellowship for U.S.-based journalists during the week of the UN General Assembly from September 18 to 21 in New York City.
This fellowship is intended for U.S.-based reporters who do not have regular access to key UN experts, but are interested in global health, international development and the United Nations. Special consideration will be given to journalists whose portfolios include health.
Applicants must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
Preference will be given to US-based journalists who cover health or international issues.
Travel expenses, hotel accommodation and most meals will be covered through this fellowship.
Deadline for applications is August 5.
