Students and budding journalists are invited to a seminar in Cachoeira, Bahia.

The Federal University of Recôncavo of Bahia will hold the first Training Seminar for Journalism Students from July 30 to Aug. 1. The event will feature debates, lectures and networking in various areas of journalism.

Participants will also have access to workshops in cultural, economic, news-breaking, factual, community, fashion, entertainment, health, music and sports journalism, as well as infographics and television news.

Registration is free but required. The deadline is July 29.
