Sports journalists, producers, broadcasters and communication students can attend a seminar on sports journalism in Latin America, scheduled for November 7 in Caracas, Venezuela. Registration is open.

At the seminar, prominent media professionals will train participants in new journalistic practices on the following topics: coverage of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa; coverage of the 2010 Caribbean Series; the multimedia journalist; sports journalism today; investigative sports journalism; and more.

Registration costs VEB$34,950 (about US$17). The event is organized by Universidad Simón Bolívar, through the Foundation for Investigation and Development, and Centro de Tecnología de Información.
