Journalists in Morocco can participate in a one-day workshop to use their iPhones as reporting tools.

The World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers is offering a hands-on workshop in French for Moroccan journalists to develop their techniques in video journalism using the iPhone 4 or 3GS.

This workshop will be held April 6, 2011. Journalists will learn how to shoot a quality video story relying totally on iPhones. The training includes learning the basics on how to download news and images captured and upload them on the internet without relying on outside tech help.

The workshop, held in Casablanca, costs MAD3,000 (about USD$370).
