Virtual legal clinic created in Mexico to promote freedom of expression
A virtual legal clinic, where lawmakers, academics and journalists answer questions related to freedom of expression, from constitutional to ethical aspects, was recently launched in Mexico.
The virtual clinic aims "to fill the vacuum of the theme in Mexico and Latin America and, at the same time, to establish a constant link between people and institutions that promotes the sense and appreciation of free expression," said Benjamín Fernández Bogado, project creator and Knight International Journalism Fellow in Mexico.
The project is supported by Mexico's Fundación para la Libertad de Expresión and the Knight International Journalism Fellowship.
