Visiting business professor program seeks journalists [US]

Deadline:

5/31/11

Journalists interested in business and economics can apply for a visiting professor program.

The program, sponsored by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, is designed to launch business journalism courses at journalism schools in the US that do not currently offer them.

Visiting professors will teach two classes for a full semester at participating universities. Four professors will be selected to begin teaching at four journalism schools in January, 2012.

Participating professors will receive US$10,000, an office and administrative support. Experience in business journalism and teaching experience are a plus, but applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
