Visual storytelling award open [Worldwide]

Photographers and multimedia storytellers worldwide are eligible for this award.
AnthropoGraphia is accepting entries for its Human Rights through Visual Storytelling Award.
Judges will choose 12 photo-essays and six multimedia projects from the entries submitted. These will be chosen by a team of curators that includes Adrian Evans, director of Panos Pictures, and Shahidul Alam, photographer, writer, lecturer and human rights activist. Of these, AnthropoGraphia will grant a US$3,000 award to one outstanding visual storytelling essay.
Submitted pieces should focus on issues that are often marginalized by the mainstream media. Submissions must have a clear connection to human rights, and should be long-term, in-depth and cohesive bodies of work.
The deadline is May 7.
