Young journalists and journalism students are invited to volunteer at the International Journalism Festival, scheduled for April 1 to 5, 2009 in Perugia, Italy. Deadline to sign up to volunteer: January 30.

Volunteers can work in the press office, at the online festival magazine or in the photo and video departments, among other options. English, or any major European language, is required.

The articles, interviews, videos and photos produced by volunteers will be published on the festival's Web site and will credit the author. Volunteers will receive food tickets for the duration of the event and a certificate of participation, as well as the opportunity to network with journalists from all over the world.
