Week-long tour to visit 'ground-breaking' Asian media companies
From Februrary 8 to 15, the World Association of Newspapers (WAN) will host a week-long tour of "ground-breaking" media companies in Korea and Japan, in order to inspire new product development and revenue making among media professionals and other study tour participants.
The Asian Study Tour aims to bring together some of the leading players in the mobile and Internet world to share ideas and experiences. Participants will return home with a new focus on how to ensure a successful future in a rapidly changing media environment, according to WAN.
The standard price for participants is EU€8500. The cost for WAN/WEF (World Editors Forum) members is EU€7500. Price includes all domestic flights and transfers, hotel accommodation in 4 and 5 star hotels and all meals. Flights to Japan and from South Korea are not included.
