Candidates with substantial experience editing the English Wikipedia can apply for a full-time fellowship at Harvard University.

The Wikimedia Foundation and the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs offer a one-year fellowship designed to improve the quality of articles on Wikipedia related to international security.

The full-time position includes working with faculty, staff and fellows at the Center to increase understanding of and participation in Wikipedia and other free content and coordinating projects and events, both online and in-person, to support the improvement of Wikimedia projects

The fellow will share their experience at Harvard with the global community of Wikipedians and among academics via articles, blog posts and other multimedia.

Candidates must also possess an aptitude for facilitating healthy collaboration, especially between experts and the Wikimedia community; prior experience with or a willingness to learn about international security and public policy and an interest in promoting improved access to free information for all.
