Broadcasters throughout Asia and the Pacific region can each nominate one mid-career producer to participate in a programming workshop on HIV and AIDS. Deadline: October 30.

The workshop is to be part of the World Electronic Media Forum, scheduled for December 7 to 9 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Applicants must have at least five years of experience as a producer or journalist and proficiency in English.

Those selected will receive an economy-class round-trip ticket, hotel accommodation, and per diem. The participant’s organization is expected to air the five-minute mini-documentary on June 27, 2008, to mark the first HIV International Testing Day.
