World Press Freedom Day hosts free webinar for young journalists [Worldwide]

Young journalists around the globe can participate in an online discussion about press freedom issues.
The free event marks World Press Freedom Day, which will be held in Washington D.C. this year. You can read more of IJnet's ongoing coverage and profile series leading up to the events here.
The two-hour webinar, hosted by iEARN and the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), will address questions like what press freedom means for journalists and how young people can make a contribution towards independent journalism.
It will take place on May 3, at 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. EST (15:00 - 17:00 GMT/UTC).
Student journalists from Kuwait and Oman, along with iEARN’s World Youth News reporters from Pakistan, Turkey, the U.S., India and other countries, will take part in the discussion. Mentors from ICFJ, PBS, NewsHour Extra and Columbia University will host the discussion.
