Magazine journalists can apply for a scholarship to attend a one-week course in Connecticut.

The American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) offers one scholarship for the Yale course titled Leadership Strategies in Magazine & Digital Publishing.

The course is designed for mid-to senior-level professionals and focuses on best practices in business and management, the latest advances in technology, strategies for audience development, increasing revenue in a global economy and more.

Applicants, their supervisors or their editors-in-chief must be ASME members to be eligible for the scholarship, which covers course tuition. Accommodation and travel are not included.

The course will be held July 14-19. Submit an application and a letter of recommendation by March 15.
