Young journalists from all over Europe between 18 and 26 years old are invited to the Youth Media Workshop in Potsdam, Germany.

The workshop will cultivate practical and theoretical knowledge relating to journalism and journalistic work and also seeks to generate long-term connections between participants.

To participate, applicants must submit an essay addressing the topic: "Youth and politics in my country - how journalism can reach poorly educated and politically-distant youth?"

A brief resume and motivational statement must be also included.

Accommodation and board are provided by the organizers of the event as well as €250 (about US $360) to reimburse travel expenses.

Sponsors include the ZEIT Foundation, the German Commission for UNESCO, European Youth Press, the City of Potsdam and other organizations.
