YouTube competition seeks content creators [US]

Video storytellers and content creators in the United States can enter a YouTube competition to attend a new media course.
The YouTube Creator Institute Contest gives applicants the chance to attend the YouTube Creator Institute, a new media school partnered with the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts and Columbia College of Chicago.
Participants can choose to attend the program of about two months either at USC from May to June or at the Columbia College of Chicago from May to July.
Winners will participate in both online and in-person courses. They will have the opportunity to use new media tools, engage with world-class faculty and produce a single piece of work by the end of the program.
The prize includes tuition, round-trip airfare, room and board.
To enter, applicants must submit a two-minute video displaying creativity, originality and technical skills and two short essays. Ten winners will be selected for each school.
