The competition, "Publishing Activities at Public Schools," is accepting entries in the following categories: print edition, design, web design, journalism (article, reporting and interview) and photo reporting. Deadlines vary.

Russian journalists and editors who work on websites for children are encouraged to apply for the "Positive Content 2010" competition. Deadline: September 1.

The competition is aimed at supporting online resources developed for children that provide useful and positive information and promote educational and other activites online and offline.

Winners will receive prizes.

Editors, publishers and media managers are invited to the conference Energy of the Future: Publishers and Advertisers for Children and Youth. The conference will take place in Moscow on September 24-25.

Journalists in the Dominican Republic who work in print, digital, and broadcast media are invited to submit works on situations that affect children and adolescents in the country to a national competition. Deadline: August 13.
