A network of provincial journalists is organizing a series of three workshops in northern Peru, in advance of Peru’s general elections in April.

The Red de Periodistas de Provincias, a Peruvian group that works for colleagues outside the major cities, is organizing the workshops in Piura, Iquitos, and the Ancash province. The title of the training is “Quality Journalism in Times of Election Campaigns: Promises, Truths and Civil Society.”
