Canadian journalists can apply for a six-month fellowship to report science stories from developing countries.

Science journalists in South Africa can apply for a fellowship to attend a workshop. There are also 40 paying spots open for a ZAR2500 (about US$350) course fee.

Applications are currently being accepted for a six-month internship from January to June.

The Kavli Science Journalism Awards, recognize outstanding individual coverage of the sciences, engineering and mathematics. One category of the award is open to international participants.
