Venezuelan journalists interested in covering meteorological events and their effects can participate in a workshop from November 24 to 26 at the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh).

A workshop in Nairobi, Kenya, for researchers, academics, journalists and policymakers will discuss public understanding of science in Africa.

The workshop will run from September 22 to 24 at the British Institute of East Africa. Attendees will discuss the impact of various environmental, medical and technological projects on Africa.
