Mid-career South African journalists interested in enhancing their political reporting skills can now participate in a political journalism course, to take place in Johannesburg, South Africa from August 31 to September 4.

Professional newspaper and news agency journalists who have a strong interest in political reporting are invited to take part in a four-week training on "reporting politics" in Berlin from September 4 to October 2. Deadline: June 24. Journalists from Afghanistan, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Tanzania are especially encouraged to apply.

Egyptian journalists are invited to take part in two training workshops on covering the country's parliamentary elections. The first workshop will be held from June 14 to 18, and the second from June 21 to 25 in Cairo. The deadline to apply is June 3.

Experienced political journalists in South Africa are encouraged to attend a political reporting workshop to be held from August 31 to September 4 in Johannesburg.
