Journalists in India interested in child labor issues can register to attend a four-day workshop in Bangalore. Application deadline: January 15.

Organized by Concerned for Working Women (CWW) Bangalore, the workshop is scheduled for February 12 to 15.

The 2006 International Children’s Day of Broadcasting on December 10 invites broadcasters worldwide to make children a part of the programming process. Children will go on air as reporters, presenters and producers to report on the theme of “Unite for Children. Unite Against AIDS.”

UNICEF and the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is sponsoring the children’s day, which aims to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS through the voices of youth.
