The Story of the Customer

Executive Summary

A business' success relies on their value story aligning with the customer's value story. We are useful to our customers by being worthy of their time, attention, and financial outlay. We become valuable by adapting to the changing narrative of the people we serve, and these days, that narrative is changing very quickly. We have to remain in sync with the developing wants and needs of our customers. Said another way, the customer must be at the center of any business. Companies that understand this, and can therefore quickly meet their customer's needs and expectations, will succeed.

This session covered some of the rapid changes taking place in the customer narrative.
