Executive Summary

The Coalition for Innovative Media Measurement (CIMM) was founded in 2009 by leading television content providers, media agencies and advertisers to promote innovation in audience measurement for television and cross-platform media. CIMM recently had media consultant Charlene Weisler update its Lexicon for a third time to incorporate the fast moving digitization of content and advertising, the Internet of Things, the development of programmatic buying and selling, and virtual reality.
