A report about journalism and democracy in Latin America features a detailed map of the state of freedom of expression in the region and sorts out by zones the safe and unsafe countries for the practice of journalism.

Created by university professor Fernando J. Ruiz, the report is available on the Web site of  Centro para la Apertura y el Desarrollo de América Latina (CADAL).
